More than education.

emily gay

My sexuality education was shit.

Growing up, sex/sexuality/pleasure was NOT a topic discussed casually in my home or in my education. The topic was felt awkward, shameful and downright weird. So, like many of my peers, I turned to friends and porn to 'learn'. Which of course left me with a less than ideal view of sex, consent and my own pleasure.

It wasn't until my twenties that I realized that sex was something we all wanted to discuss but did not have the tools to form the conversation and that I didn't know shit about shit when it came to pleasure, my own body and sex.

So, I did something about it.

As a certified Sexuality Educator I continuously strive to provide accurate, inclusive, and compassionate education and support on all aspects of human sexuality because I believe that education is the key a happy (sex) life.
